Cedric and Omar are cursed man I swear, always going through some tragedy
The Descendents and Screeching Weasel are timeless pop punk in my book.. Jawbreaker if they count (they're more sophisticated tho).
Jawbreaker and Superchunk are pop-punk for adults.
Sxn dead as f*** but I been fw Glassjaw, Finch, & Counterparts recently
You like Material Control? Or are you the person from KTT1 who thought Daryl‘s kind of lost it?
Super underappreciated Lookout! band from back in the day. Like a cross between the Replacements and the Descendents:

I love everything from the beginning to Let It Be. Hootenany’s got a few stinkers but it also has great stuff like “Hayday”, “You Lose”, “Color Me Impressed” and “Treatment Bound”. Pleased to Meet Me isn’t as bad as what came after but it’s not quite as good as the earlier stuff.
Anybody f*** with Pissed Jeans? Sludgy, Black Flag-in-1984 kind of punk. I could list all of the cool, obscure stuff they’re influenced by but honestly if you like Nirvana or Queens of the Stone Age you’ll probably like them:

Without SDRE and Drive Like Jehu there'd be no At the Drive-In..
facts, never heard sdre till just now tho

I feel like everything Cedric Bixler-Zavala knows about showmanship he learned from James Brown and this performance:

!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OgI1OPcJxG8Makes sense. IIRC he said that SDRE took what Fugazi were doing to another level or something along these lines
