My Wal-Mart dirty af. Feel like I walk into a cloud full of STDs going into that b****. A stocker still better than working fast food, though.

    cheers OP.

try to do as little work and steal as much s*** from those greedy f***s as possible

    I’m not suggesting doing this,

But when I worked at Walmart when I was younger I stole lunch from there almost every day

Chimichanga and a box of hot pockets was my go to

    F***ers never caught me lol

    How was the work?

Did you work with a lot of baddies?

How long did you work there?

  • I worked at a 24hr Walmart before. Did the overnight/graveyard shift. S*** was f***in terrible worked 10PM-7AM. Sleep schedule was in shambles was hardly able to really have a good meal because I couldn't adjust. Also having to deal with rednecks coming in fighting over f***in tires at 2AM is never not stressful.

If you're working the regular day time shift I'm sure it's totally fine. I used to work at a Target during the day for a year and a half and it was pretty much like working any retail job. You stock the shelves, you help guests with dumb questions, you f*** around with co-workers, you steal food off the shelves for your break time lunch.

It's pretty easy stuff until the holidays start up but that's just the nature of working retail. It's not a bad field of work if you're just lookin for a lil extra dough, the only thing that makes it bad are the customers. My only advice is avoid working overnight if you can.

Tbh it all depends on how good your team is. When I applied, I thought it was gonna be easy and all I would do is just stock (which is kinda easy). My first week they trained me how to stock. The next week they put me on the truck. Which meant that I would unload the trucks full of all of Walmart’s supplies. Again, if you got a good team, you’re chilling. Also unloading the truck is some REALLY hard work. Most of my time working there I was unloading the truck. This was before corona so my shift was from 2pm-11pm, the entire day I’m not sure how they do it now with all the corona s***, but honestly don’t be surprised if the managers put you on the truck every time. Usually it’s all the women doing the stocking and the men unloading the trucks. Heres a pic of what the inside of a truck that you have to unload looks like
Now here's a pic I took of what it looks like once you start unloading

For the baddies? I honestly only worked with one girl who I thought was cute. Most of the girls were way older or just ugly. It all depends on your store. Maybe for other positions, there may be some cute girls. Its different for everyone

I worked there for 8 months. Quit due to how trash the work is. Most of my truck team quit, got fired, or got transferred to another position, so I was basically the only veteran unloading the trucks. So this meant I had to train all the new people which was f***ing horrible. My team was f***ing trash af. it would take us the entire 8 hour shift to unload two trucks which is not a good thing. Now imagine when we got THREE trucks. I was honestly f***ing miserable, so I just said f*** it, im done. Honestly, if I were to work there again tho. I would.

also @op I was like you when I started. Thinking I was only going to stock s*** and that it was gonna be easy. But nooooo, they put me on the f***ing trucks most of my time there. And youre literally doing that the entire shift. Also if you do just be a stocker, its honestly really hard in the beginning since you don't know where everything goes. You literally have to finish 8 feet stacks of pallets that you have to stock. If you don't finish, managers will sometimes get on your ass and be like "how come this is not done" type s***. You also got customers hindering your progress while you're trying to finish those pallets that you have to stock. Heres a tip, if you are stocking and want to choose what isle to do. Pick the juice/water isle. That was the isle I would always get put on. It was pretty easy. If you have anymore questions, let me know

Damn job sounds trash af tbh. Still seems better than food service like o was doing before.

I got offered a position as either cart pusher or stocker, I picked stocker but do you think being a cart pusher would be more chill than stocking?

Did working on the truck help you get in better shape?

HELL NO. Don't be a cart pusher. S*** is f***ing trash and its hot af rn. Ive seen those cart pushers and they always seem low on people. Also yea working on the truck definitely helped me lose a lot of weight. I lost like 20 pounds there. Also what's your shift hours? Are you even cap 2?
