wait what? So were you not officially a stocker?? Honestly complain to the managers that you didn't sign up for being a cart pusher. At my Walmart, I had many coworkers complain about their positions and the managers listened to them. Not sure about you tho...

Just barely do any work until your shift is almost over. Used to work at krogers and nobody was doing all that manual labor lol

I was a stocker (training on the truck) The dude they hired for cart pusher legit quit the first day. So one of the managers pulled me and told me they needed me to be cart pusher because they only had 3 people at the position. That I would be moved back to working the truck once they find someone who sticks.
They left me out there from 10-7 by myself

That's a classic move tbh

yup that happens lol. Do you like it? Also you were getting trained on the truck lol so you'd probably be a truck guy like i said.
Get a job at T-Mobile/AT&T/Spectrum etc srs. Or another retail sales job where you can make hourly plus commission
Can make some decent money and don't need that much experience to get the job either

I used to be an ASM, don’t work on cap 2 dude. Unloading those trucks is the most thankless job in the world. Backbreaking physical labor for hours and then y’all will get blamed everyday for not being fast enough.
You’re way better off as a cart pusher, you can spend half of the time just chillin on your phone and just use the machine to get a bunch of carts when they start adding up.

Yeah cart pushing is kinda easier imo, it just sucks when I’m by myself and the store is really busy and everyone else is just standing around and not offering any help or anything. When I ask for help and the managers don’t get me any made me mad at first but now i just accept it. I’ve also gotten in better shape already and starting to look better too.
Anyways I’ve developed the mindset that eventually the store will slow down..and I’m leaving when it’s time for me to leave. The only thing I make sure to do is fill up the cart bay. I’ll get a good amount of loose carts but as soon as my shift is over I’m clocking out. They stupidly fired one of the other cart pushers when we only had 4 in the first place..and only ever have one closer so I’m just not going to worry about it tbh. It’s not a long term thing for me anyways
Yall rude for no reason itt
They probably have like $5 in their bank account s*** talking op
have a feeling some of y'all didn't get a job till 25+ lmao complaining about entry-level jobs smh
