Dude ran straight under the couch as soon as we brought him home. I’m worried he’ll s*** under there cuz I didn’t get a chance to show him the litter box before he scrambled. Lmk if y’all have any advice for it or anything else that I should keep in mind
I’d say just give him some wet food and he’ll soon tire out and eventually be fine. He might s*** a little bit as he’s getting used to things but you have to get a littler box and then rub a warm wash cloth on his genitals when he’s in the litter box and that’s how it’ll get used to it (it sounds weird but it worked and that’s what it said online to do)

That’s what I’m scared of lol. He’s under an area where there’s wood flooring and a bit of rug as well. Would be problematic if he does anything on the rug. And I set aside dry food and water right by the opening of the couch in case he gets hungry or thirsty
Is he meowing a lot?
Not at all. Was meowing like crazy in the car and scratching at the box he was in prob cuz of movement. But as soon as he went under the couch he’s been dead silent for the most part

Lure him or her out with food or toys and give em some time to get comfortable
Will be getting both of those as soon as he gets comfortable with his surroundings. Maybe in a week or two

Tried the food and toys with no luck lol. I’ve set everything within reach for now so that he can access it without going too far from his hiding spot
