Most importantly if u decide to do it alone MAKE SURE there will be no external distractions no texts no calls no family/roommates etc. That s*** can be very jarring and depending on what happens it can ruin a trip. I'd take the acid at 10-11 pm and just listen to music thru the night maybe play a fun video game nothing too intense like COD

For years the mantra I've taught people that are about to trip on shrooms for the first time for is " I poisoned myself on purpose nobody ever died from this I will be fine in a couple hours" and it always seems to work

I can describe what I think was ego death when I took LSD once. So I'm in bed at night. I love laying in bed tripping with the blankets wrapped tight around me because I can't tell if my body is actually there anymore and I'm just a floating head Everything I see is just colorful lines, I can't make out anything. I feel like the outlines of my body vanish, like the separation between myself and the rest of the universe disappears. I'm a puddle leaking into the universe beneath this blanket, becoming one with the universe. The concept of "I", "Me" is genuinely confusing to me. I don't even remember my own name even though I'm trying to. I don't recognize this room I'm in or who these things belong to. In this moment I just exist. Pure existence, I have no thoughts. And for some reason it's extremely euphoric. Idk how long this lasted, probably just a few seconds. But my identity started coming back and I started remembering who I am and that this is my bedroom etc

It's a weird feeling and it's kinda contradictory to seek it out. Because for you to experience ego death, there has to be a you to experience it. That was confusing me while I went through it, like who is actually breathing rn if the self is gone for the moment

I remember my first Salvia experience in college, smoked it and was lying down either Pantera Walk playing in background

Ceiling fan turned into a flower, I was in flower world and was not welcome. The flower army was coming to arrest me but this rugged liutenant and his soldiers popped up to defend me, he was talking his s*** to the voice and words of the song as they battled, and at the end after the flower army was defeated he told me to go back to real world with the song lyrics "WALK ON HOME BOI" and just like that the trip was over

Now that we talking about ego death, I lowkey think LSD and Shrooms give you a taste of what death feels like They're extremely similar to DMT chemically and that's what our body releases when we die. That melting/one with the universe feeling is your consciousness preparing to leave this planet. But then it comes back when the trip ends. That's kinda why I haven't tripped in over a year, the psychedelic headspace can get scary
