The perpetrator is a 29 year old black male how do I get the charges dropped, dont want this king behind bars

you gotta show up to a subpoena, and you cant lie so idk. i mean you can answer honestly and say you wish nothing against him, maybe he'll say he was gonna try to return your wallet? then you can say you believe him.

lmaooo best case scenario you help this guy like you want to by asking to forgive him and saying you believe he wanted to help you, if you're trying to help yourself then just answer everything honestly.

ik you dont, what im saying is the only way to achieve that. his lawyer is gonna say he picked up your wallet to return it to you, and then you're gonna say you believe him. thats all you can do.

in criminal cases, the DA decides to pursue or drop the case.

don't take this suggestion too seriously/take it with a grain of salt, but you may just refuse to testify. if there's no witness statement by the actual victim, the DA might be forced to just drop the case.

KTT lawyers are not your best outlet though

If you were served with a subpoena, which is a court order to appear in court on a certain date and at a certain time, you are required to appear in court on the date stated on the subpoena. Failure to do so can result in the judge issuing a bench warrant or body attachment for your arrest.

nah dont f*** around with that

I didn't say not to show up, but you can just not cooperate.

Report gets filed --> no charges recommended --> suspect goes free
