UPDATE: I'm still getting paid for yesterday/I'm not in trouble. I went to go talk to my boss and he was actually on my side and apologized. Imma go tomorrow though to see wassup with the cooking job downtown since I want more restaurant/back of house experience.

Walking out a customer/food service job is normal af and practically standard in 2022. This don’t need no thread.

It ain’t like you walked out a Fortune 500 company at CEO level

    Fiesta

    Why

    A culmination of 3 things

    1. My Assistant Manager called out RIGHT as I got there to clock in, leaving just me and one other person to open the store (which the other person was prep, so I was responsible for literally everything else)

    2. The delivery driver cut his hand open while getting the order ready, had to use the first aid kit so we aren't getting the shipment of ingridents we needed

    3. My coworker, who's the same position as me, was on the phone with the boss, I asked what he said, and she was like "Don't have an attitude, BOY" and nigga I had it right then, so I told her f*** this, I'm leaving.

Not in the top 3 of pizza places/fairly regional, but popular in their respective markets
