The idea was to adapt Lucas's treatment for VII but once Disney bought SW they said

to clarify Lucas had prepped versions for a sequel trilogy, pitched them and Disney opt’d out on doing them.

Apparently Lucas had the idea that they might go through with his narrative then felt hurt that they chose a different route.

    can you elaborate brodie

I believe they agreed to use Lucas’ treatments and plans for Sequel trilogy when they bought Star Wars off him,

but they ended up scrapping all of his ideas and visions for post Return of the Jedi SW

This is un-ironically something Snyder has said to

traumatized by his past and wanting to relive the nightmare Bruce Wayne frequently visits queer bars in a BDSM inspired latex bat suit.

Can you blame them? Lucas fell off highkey since the Prequel era

@SegaDreamFlash this plus it had some ideas I assume Disney got cold feet about, like the exploration of the midi-chlorians

"Arndt has been working on Star Wars even before Disney announced it was buying Lucasfilm in October 2012, writing a 40- to 50-page treatment for Episode VII. The announcement also contained the news that Disney was planning new movies in the Star Wars universe, including Episode VII, with a 2015 release planned. Then in late 2012, Arndt was formally hired to write the screenplay."

Then whedon had to whedon it up in JL when Superman asks Batman if he bleeds in a sarcastic way and then Batman is like ‘somethings DEFINITELY bleeding 🙄🙄’

I never liked how he turned that line from BVS into a punchline of a Whedon joke (which I guess is a small, concentrated metaphor of what whedon did to JL in general)

Donner, Tim Burton, Raimi and Snyder invented the CBM.

unfortunately Raimi sold out to Marvel but he does need the money. Oz sucked.
