It's the version the director wanted to release on theaters before he was asked by the studio to make it shorter. Ultimate Edition flows better and explains more the characters's motivations for example
Still has way too much Jesse Eisenberg chewing it up
Imagine thinking you have to hate on Marvel’s greatness because this movie is great
The MCU is GOATED and Zack Snyder’s Justice League is an amazing movie and DC should let Snyder continue his universe.
Two things can be true at the same time!
Criticizing marvel and their s***ty movies and business practices in hurting the entire theater model and independent distribution does not come from a place of wanting to suck Snyder’s d***

he’s literally the best part of BVS besides the warehouse scene and the very beginning where Bruce is running in the city to help people in need.
Literally went into the Winter Soldier thread to post some funny tweets in regards to that show's plotline and the first thing I see is DC slander I'm crine
the "we dont talk about DC in Marvel threads" narrative been false
I’ll def say Eisenberg is too extra in BvS but I still think he’s a way better villain and a more apt portrayal of a modern day mad technocrat than the Lex of comics
I’d still rather see a villain like him than making a villain out of a working class person or someone who would probably identify more with the Black Panthers politically than Obama.

Imagine thinking that Marvel makes s***ty movies and that they hurt the theater model
Imagine being that pretentious
literally is with the exception of some films and even then most of them fully break free from the Marvel formula. Luckily some directors like James Gunn are able to work within that formula and give it their own spin but that's a rare circumstance.
nigga really bout to tell me with a straight face that Ant Man & Doctor Strange aren't Iron Man rehashes or that most of these films don't follow some generic structure.
Doctor Strange, yes. Ant-Man, no. Most of their films, no, with a few exceptions.

Dudes keep crying about snyder stans overrating this itt when 90% of the people itt hate Snyder and Stan the MCU
You should see the Snyder fans I follow on letterboxd and see what they’re saying about this film because it is 100% not this muted positive reception here lmaoo

It’s hypocrisy lmao
Imagine thinking that Marvel makes s***ty movies and that they hurt the theater model
Imagine being that pretentious
They factually do
You are not informed if you haven’t been keeping up with their s***ty ass business practices regarding increased number of auditoriums requirement and revenue percentage shifts
Their movies are single handedly the reason we rarely see independent films in theaters anymore

yea a lot of the comments in here are "i'm not a snyder fan but this was enjoyable" but let them tell it lmao
It’s hypocrisy lmao
Bro I literally went to go joke about Bucky being broke and the first thing I see is Snyder and BvS slander lmaoo
They factually do

This is true
Back when I worked for AMC I remember Disney making us put the Last Jedi in our biggest auditorium for 3 weeks and we had to keep it in IMAX for a whole month.
2 weeks in it wasn’t selling out at all so we had half empty large auditoriums while other movies were selling out in smaller ones
I still remember when Endgame was the reason High Life could only stay in theaters for one week

Imagine blaming Marvel for this
Imagine blaming Marvel for this
Disney literally set the precedent
Dude you are literally shilling for a multi billion dollar corporation because they make movies about dudes in capes
You weird as s*** and straight up delusional to the standards they have placed on the industry.
Weirdos like you see them buying Fox and owning 50% of the industry and go “YES! Monopolies >>>>>”
Imagine blaming Marvel for this
Disney literally is the worst partner for theaters
They wanted 60% of the box office revenue for Last Jedi when normal terms are 50%
That 10% to a theater is a lot
Only reason theaters put up with it is because the amount of money their films (Marvel in particular) brings in
everybody say they hate Trump but stan Disney, a conglomerate that villainizes the working class and oppressed and glamorizes billionaires and their slaves in movies and is actively monopolizing the industry.

Niggas heard Fox was bought by Disney and didnt think about how weird it is that Disney vaulted a good chunk of their films. All they thought about was "XMEN IN THE MCU"
lmaoooo Feigie stans keep coming in and derailing the thread
He chief I fell asleep 5 times trying to get through Thor Dark World last week it's fine
Doctor Strange, yes. Ant-Man, no. Most of their films, no, with a few exceptions.
same overused comedic formula replacing any kind of awe inspiring superhero moments and any real drama or conflict. Captain Marvel was like 2 years ago and they simply just re-hashed Thor which was already a re-hash of the He-Man movie.
if you really think Marvel has actually been progressing I don't know what to tell you but I'm praying for you.
Imagine thinking that Marvel makes s***ty movies and that they hurt the theater model
Imagine being that pretentious
They definitely hurt the theatre model even though it looks like they might be saving it

and its not even like im defending WB or the DCEU here either. WB saw what Disney is doing and they also raised their revenue requirements on theaters.
Corporations saw how toxic Disney was being and got greedy too. The entertainment industry is literally a bubble right now.
