thank you like lets be real. Dune, Spider man no way home was in theaters and discussion came and went. Lets stop acting like any movie last year was really dominating social media

no way home was some memes

people want memes and thats how they get into it

    Euphoria memes booming

Surprisingly I had more students talking about Venom longer than NWH. It's probably due to Christmas break but still

like I am confused on if they serious what is there to discuss that they think the GA discusses. Movie wise it stays longer with memes, jokes, things that emotionally move GA not "release the snyder cut" from a GA that didnt like BVS

  • Jan 10, 2022

Like aint hating cause I think Snyder has potential but I aint going to act like a direct to streaming movie that cost 70 million to finish combined with original budget is a easy sell

  • Jan 10, 2022

"its changing to Discovery" yes yes I get it, but do I think discovery or any people should invest half a billion in fan service ? No. thats the same critique I give of Marvel so its silly to act like I am not consistent

Imagine your pitching Dragon Ball and you like "he becomes the goku you know 10 hours in movie 5 this just the origin"

isnt this what they just did with the Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy?

literally more excited for the next (presumed) Spider-Man movie than I ever have been for a Tom Holland Spidey film

Superman tried harder not to kill Zod than he tried not killing Batman or saving his mom

does that not make sense when it comes to the aspect that in MoS, Clark was trying to understand who he was / is and that meeting the last people of his kind would be hard to kill when they would more than likely be the key for him to understand (and ask questions with answers) himself?

His daughter passed Rest In Peace THEY OFFERED TO DELAY THE MOVIE HE ALLEGEDLY SAID NO

    this is not true

WB pushed to meet their deadline of the November (?) release date bc if they did, WB execs would get their Christmas Bonuses, had they not, they would not have gotten paid.

which also ties into the fact of how stressful it was of an experience to finish JL as Ben stated in that interview that came out last week I think

@SUPERMAN this would all be true if the kryptonian ship didn’t tell himself and luthor everything about him . Same as jor el hologram dad. It removes the stake of a dead dad or species when you replaced it with ghost , holograms , ship that recaps your entire history. Also humanity like Zod is consumed by imperialism and destruction of each other in infinite cycles yet SUPERMAN doesn’t kill them

Makes sense but I mean is it realistic to think any company would delay a movie out of winter even if no bonuses when there wasn’t even an estimate of how long it would take to grieve because you never know combined with the actors time

Let’s say it was going to be 5 movies does it make sense that it took 3 movies to get Superman then after we get him if Lois dies he easy to control and turn his back on all of Society ? That isn’t the Superman we know . Remove darkseid let’s say any villain or even a drunk driver kills Lois? This man would murder everyone cause only humans he genuinely cares about are Lois and Martha who both magically made it out safe from bvs

I understand what you're saying but you cannot tell me that a ship with holograms and a debrief of species history is better than an actual person from there, that grew there and knew the ins and outs of the planet

that's just proving the point that WB did not care about Zack's vision. they wanted the movie out, if they truly understood and wanted Zack's vision to be completed then they would have delayed it. it's completely understandable that the man behind the whole story of this "grandiose" film having a family tragedy could delay a film release.

but no, WB wanted to stay with the release because they were and still are all money hungry dudes that could have profited more had they decided to wait. the money was already spent for production, why not just wait a little longer, the fans would have understood

I think Batman was always human, he was just filled with anger after seeing his whole building and associates be killed in front of his eyes because of a fight that is seemingly Superman's fault.

it's the idea that Superman is clearly another "person" that shifts Batman's ideology of him when he says to save Martha -- not the best way to do this, I am not defending the way it was presented.

plus the dude is just angry at the world tbh, 20 years of fighting in gotham and losing Robin can break someone I would think
