May 24, 2020·1 replyFahimF*** it, 4 years later. Batman v Superman is a great movie. It's not an easily digestible film. I still have my gripes with it but everything is clear, Jesse nailed it as Lex and his character development would have been realized as the DCEU would have moved forward.
DCEU Lex Luthor is better than all MCU villains, that includes Thanos

GojiraOddly enough, right now I don’t think I’ll ever watch MOS and BVS again. While I love em, I turned on the fanbase after I saw how consistently s***ty they were towards Johns and the new DC directors, who still made fire films overall too.
I feel this. I love Geoff Johns and appreciate what he’s done for comics a lot. Had no clue that the dumb portion of folks in the Snyder Cult were calling him out.
That said, I have BvS UE on my phone, so it’s way too accessible for me not to watch it lol. In fact I just watched it the other day, and I swear it gets better and better on every rewatch

Lex was playing 4D chess bruh, I don't accept "Joker" comparisons for his criticism cause that's who he was at all. He's jealous of Superman and upset that a godlike being exists and operates outside of his control.
