The problem is the longer you wait, the harder it will be to prove. You would need to check dates and locations, and ideally right after the encounter DNA tests would have to have been made, and you would want witnesses who can confirm you were there at the hotel, check the trashbin for condoms, and so on. After 6 years it becomes very hard to prove anything
