Aged horribly
Eh i agree but that was more a general comment for something that was a trend in 2021-2022. I repeated that same comment in multiple threads
There were several acts all selling their masters in the same span of months and while situations like being broke are prob real, I still feel like something was brewing that fans were not aware of during that era....and i still also don't think he woulda seen much more for a deal nor seemed equipped in knowing how to leverage what he owned to see returns based on what the article is describing
The issue was he sold it as a young man in 2022, not that he sold it for $200M
The article is saying Scooter wanted him to hold on (like he should), not that he got ripped off. He cashed in for what it was likely worth at the time.

his label mates and friends got hundreds of millions stolen by his manager Scooter Braun so he was saving his own ass in advance and ignoring the advice of the nigga controlling his assets who, again, already screwed over a lot of his friends in the industry but is probably to close of a friend to cutoff
that’s literally what was happening
Been listening to Bieber recently and he got like 50 songs boutta crack a billion views. i didnt realize how bad this deal was at the time lol
and because he did thins before in 2022 he cant eat off those billion view vids anymore right... ooff

So is the issue stolen funds or bad money management? this was the first thing i read in the article:
Justin Bieber made somewhere between $500 million and $1 billion as the world's biggest pop star, but he blew it all
If true, then i'm not surprised this happened nor am confident he even knew what to do with his masters. If he wanted to go for the deal. that was probably all he could get in 2022

the issue is after witnessing his friends get their money stolen by someone they all trusted who was also telling him not take the deal in front of him, it’s only obvious to take the deal cause how can you trust dude’s suggestions after everything that happened during that time to Taylor, Ariana, Migos and whoever else he was repping
This nigga could've went on tour
Tours are rough man looks like that's what some of this stemmed from. Remember that crazy condition he had which paralyzed his face? All that was happening during this 2022 period and he lost out
After the cancellation of the "Justice" tour in 2022, Bieber was left with a debt of $24 million to the production company AEG, which had advanced him $40 million.
And this was a delayed tour cus he couldn’t during COVID. Looks like he missed like 70 dates here. Was expecting to tour for over a year straight
time to get to work
wtf was this mfer spending all his money on that he was nearly broke
TMZ claims that Justin Bieber is broke and owes millions of dollars to his former manager, Scooter Braun.
After the cancellation of the "Justice" tour in 2022, Bieber was left with a debt of $24 million to the production company AEG, which had advanced him $40 million.
To cover the loss, Braun's company, Hybe, paid off the debt, and Bieber agreed to repay the amount in installments over ten years, but stopped payments after the first installment.
Sources close to Braun say that Bieber claimed he didn't have the money to pay off the debt, while his team re-examined the finances and concluded that the manager had received an excess of $26 million in commissions.
Hybe hired independent auditor, PWC, which, after six months, concluded that the singer actually owed around $8.8 million to the manager.
The PWC report was obtained by TMZ, but Bieber's team also conducted its own audit, the results of which have not been released.
