JT hits those high notes but also the lyrics are very cheesy imo. At least in the snippet I heard. Keep in mind I only have a 10 sec snippet so it can very well be a great song but in those 10 secs it doesn't sound too promising to me esp after a 6 year wait.

So I'm really hoping this rumor about Selfish being the lead single isn't true

Does the 10 second snippet of Selfish sound more "serious" as Timbaland said or does it sound more pop-y? I know it's only 10 seconds, but what other JT track could you compare it to?

I think when Timbo said it's "serious" he didn't mean the tone of the song I think he meant it's gonna be a big song. But then again this interview was in Sept who knows if they changed the single esp after all that Britney drama.

It's def poppy imo but it has those parts with the high notes that gives it a "deeper" feel
