Interesting how his vocal production and technique changed through the years. on Justified he sounded so young and his voice was so raw and dry, on 20/20 he was an ocean of harmonizing falsetto voices and on EITIW he sounded more radiofriendly and overly processed. like ever since CSTF he sounded like that kinda

He needs to get everyone in the room that worked on 20/20 and just lock in.

It's no surprise the best song on EITIW was Timbaland produced and has a 20/20 feel.

I think going forward, JT x Calvin Harris could be the dream team. He brings out the best in modern Justin. The funk is undeniable. I also thought they were cooking on the forgotten song Stay With Me.

What's up with so many people saying "he should work with Timbaland", "he should work with Pharrell" or Danja... he was literally still working with these people in the past 2 albums

The last two albums are so off board for some and I guess they expected a few more albums that sounded like Justified and 20/20 Experience. That's why they claim that Justin needs to get back to basics.

I'll say that Timbaland has tried to throw Justin a few bones on the last two EPs. Justin has lost most of his mojo and flare. Production can only do so much, when the artist is virtually uninspired.

It's doesn't matter what producer Justin collab with, If Justin himself isn't fired up, the songs are going to remain as all his music has been since CSTF -- soulless.
