A lot of countries do shyt like this. It's not 10 hours of classes but 5 hour of school and 5 hours of (supervised) activity. It wouldn't be bad if all schools had to offer music and sports and arts and hobby and game activities.

I get what your saying but I think this is a bad idea even then. What if you’re in a school with people you hate/bully you so you have to see them even for recreational activities. Instead the 5 hours should be in publicly funded, optional Rec centers that have the means to look after kids in the community

The difference is there would be different rec centers/ so like you could go to a Rec center that isn’t a***ogous to the school you go to do you have the choice to go whichever one you want, so the one without the bullies

The Rec center would be optional so you wouldn’t have to go, also there would be other Rec centers so you would have the choice to go to different ones
