Pac has always been bigger than Ye especially on a global scale

He’s the Michael Jordan of rap down to that bald f***in head

I’m not even tryna engage in the argument really just tryna make sure Pac is spoken on with respect

Pac has literally influenced like all the biggest rappers ever starting with Biggie I’m crying laughing

And you acting like 50 Cent, the biggest that has ever existed besides literally Eminem, being more influential than Ye is shocking which is hilarious

Do you have any argument that is worthwhile besides you acting like a shocked Pikachu face?

Eminem was the biggest, you think he's more influential than Kanye based on your logic? You literally have argument. what actual influence has Pac on rappers had post 2010? I'm baffled that I'm even having to argue this. Not to mention Kanye's impact outside of music. It's not even a competition

Kanye definitely helped to commercialize and popularize the genre. Some would argue water down as a result

He did much more than that bro come on

First of all he influenced EVERY music genre not just rap

The Maximalism & genre blending that is prevalent in about every genre in modern pop culture was largely influenced by him

As far as rap specifically rappers may still sound like 50 Cent and D Block if it wasn’t for Ye, before him COMMERCIAL rappers caring about artistry was rare (KEY WORD HERE IS COMMERCIAL SO DONT EVEN DO IT) and yes I know ATCQ, Outkast, etc exist but they were the exception not the rule rap was still mostly just bling and street s*** commercially until Kanye came along now every other rapper trying to do something different

Outside of music his influence on fashion and free thought has shifted the culture in ways I don’t even think we fully grasp yet

And let’s not forget that his Discog is the gold standard for excellence this century for any genre

Ye has been very unlikable recently so I get the hate but let’s not forget

If you aren’t bumping Pac why are you trying to discuss him and you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about

If I don’t know about something I usually dont speak on it because it is very obvious to others I don’t know what I’m talking about

You can’t even come up with a proper counter argument.

Your only defense is to sound flabbergasted and to ignore everybody’s point so you can ask further stupid questions

You brought forward no point. You just say s*** in a matter of the fact away without actually describing Pac's influence vs Kanye's influence

    Eminem
    DMX
    Kanye West himself
    Jay Z
    Biggie
    50 Cent
    Lil Wayne
    Kendrick Lamar etc

How do you get much wider than that? Where is this “so much” coming from?

    Travis Scott
    Keef
    Lupe
    Rocky
    Tyler
    Thug
    Uzi
    Juice Wrld
    Cudi

I could go on, it's almost any artist post-2010. Kanye shaped the way HipHop sounds today with 808s. Pac has not had influence of that magnitude
