Haha I feel you. Candy is actually a decent way of describing it. It's definitely unique from other daws same with Ableton mostly for the session view but also generally feels really minimalistic, no? In a really good way though :)
Like at first I didnt like Abletons interface but now I love it it's super clean and it all makes sense to me.
yeah i feel FL gets busy only if u keep all the windows open at once, but at the same time its ofc nice they give u the possibility to do that
