he was like 1.5 to 2 hours late . Chicago can go late but legally only so late at an all ages show on a Thursday that can be heard throughout loop. Lol nearly why I think he started with loud songs cause ain’t no way jail is the 1st track of the album
For everyone complaining about missing features I think they will be there in final cut
Late response, but I'm torn on this. I think there was a symmetry to the album last night by having an intro (Donda Donda etc.) followed by a passionate sing-song (Jail) that mirrored the end of the album (Come to Life followed by an interlude-like song, NCLB). In some ways I think Jail and Come to Life have a similar sound, too, which brought the experience full circle.
Regardless, I think he wanted Jail first last night because it set up the overarching theme of the night, what with the imagery up on the screens of some of the most controversial moments of his career that he was lambasted for.
