Late response, but I'm torn on this. I think there was a symmetry to the album last night by having an intro (Donda Donda etc.) followed by a passionate sing-song (Jail) that mirrored the end of the album (Come to Life followed by an interlude-like song, NCLB). In some ways I think Jail and Come to Life have a similar sound, too, which brought the experience full circle.
Regardless, I think he wanted Jail first last night because it set up the overarching theme of the night, what with the imagery up on the screens of some of the most controversial moments of his career that he was lambasted for.
Also true with Marilyn Manson Dababy out from beginning to end . He walked out with north by us
