hot pancakesnot at all, you can keep those emotionally charged vocals, but have enough inspiration to actually make the song a complete body of work
make it interesting, mix it, make it sound good. add some flavor
hes expressing himself so theres nothing wrong with what hes doing, but that doesnt mean its free from criticism. you can be emotionally raw and still make a bad song
theres like 2 or 3 songs on there that hes not even on
What I'm hearing you say is make it more musically palatable and familiar which I understand. But to say whats there isn't good is absolutely asinine

He’s going back home to go to sleep and the album will drop in 15 minutes. He did not care about the energy of the crowd and he was not in the zone. What we’re going to get in 15 minutes will be an album. He’s no longer fired up tonight.
