Only Drake from the big three era and below has successfully transitioned into the trap era
Big cap lmao
Drakes last good album was in 2015
Even jay dropped better albums since then
He still has hits tho
Kanye intentionally playing the demo versions so he can surprise us with the complete project. He really is a genius
Wish I had this optimism
I was gonna critique what I heard but now that I know Twitter likes it I cant help but do a 180
ktt just likes being comedians post release
And also that’s what you get when you dedicate your life to an upcoming album it’s never gonna be enough
Man idk , social media tends to s*** on Kanye every chance they get. He is an easy target to go after
This feels different than usual. Cant remember the last time I've seen this much love and anticipation for him
Where do you see this?
He's done miracles on me
Thats the song thats still stuck in my head but come on Ye we need a verse on there
i'm not a fan of this one but him repeatedly looping donda saying "no matter what, never abandon your family" over him crying in agony about kim leaving him is the most fascinated by an artistic decision he's made in a while. it's hard to tell if he was intentionally trying to make himself seem overbearing and manipulative or if that's just how he really is lol.
With his album named Donda he should have made this entire album about his losses; loss in faith, loss of his marriage, loss of his public image, loss of his mental health, loss of his mother etc. Instead we're getting a JIK 2.0. That song could have been the start of something amazing.

I'm not talking albums though. I'm talking about collaborations with these new artists and trap beats
didn’t he say he made yeezus in like 3 weeks back in the day?
That had been in the works for way longer, and honestly Kanye was just hungrier back then, the Rick Rubin stuff was extremely last-minute
This another Pablo
I remember only us Ye fans were confused and upset everyone else was in love. I just want songs tbh not snippets with every other rapper rapping g
Yea my only gripes with the album tbh are the unfinished lyrics and how messy it is in some parts
But I actually liked it quite a bit more than most on ktt

Well that would require him actually having a central theme to his albums again lol
uh yeah it is, ain’t gotta be hyperbolic to prove a point
I heard one solid verse and a bunch of other half mumble half coherent lyrics with a bunch of vocal effects plastered on top
still reserving judgement for the final cut but rn this is pretty literally some nah nah nah type s*** lol
Nah, I'll keep listening to stuff he puts out and critiquing it as a longtime fan and someone who enjoys music
I said it’s f***ing ridiculous for you to say what HE should do. Critiquing is one thing. But attacking him or his team just because you don’t agree with their “vision”. S***s lame man. You ain’t him
He usually records verses right before release
For sure, but here it feels like he straight-up decided to make an album on a whim last week and booked out stadiums etc before he really knew what to do with it
