serenadei'm not a fan of this one but him repeatedly looping donda saying "no matter what, never abandon your family" over him crying in agony about kim leaving him is the most fascinated by an artistic decision he's made in a while. it's hard to tell if he was intentionally trying to make himself seem overbearing and manipulative or if that's just how he really is lol.
you just know anyone sitting around Kim last night were staring daggers through her while this was playing lol

Jul 23, 2021Just gave it another listen, sounds great, my final thoughts before it drops
24 needs a mix badly, I'd like if he recorded new vocals on Remote, Losing My Family (?), Hurricane and New Again but it seems likely he won't so I'll have to get used to the mumbles and slurred speech
Most of the rest of the songs needed mixing too (besides Praise God, Moon and Jonah notably) but it's far from a basket case of an album, it'd be really great if he worked a bit more on those first tracks
