It’s art tbh. It’s just bold. There definitely is also something to pop smoke talking about god and his mother on it tho, whether you think of it as “he made it to heaven” or not, it does address the albums main themes
If it wasn’t for the hi hats bleed I think people would see the vision more but even as is I always thought it was an epic moment, it fit the tone of LP1 a lot
while i respect your opinion, this feels like a reach imo. i dont feel like ye was thinking different than "we need to put pop smoke on this, andrew dawson please make something in 2 minutes/let me make something in 2 minutes" and grabbed the vocals he had around
i could be wrong tho
Would be ironic because it’s so much better than the album minus the unfinished vocals
I disagree but you're still the best clb user
Tell the Vision is lowkey some audio Warhol s*** and I would normally avoid saying some pretentious s*** like that
id love for this to be the case but i dont see it tbh, but yeah ye loves warhol so i guess that could happen

I feel like that could be kind of true but I also think they focused on those particular lyrics for a reason

I appreciate that fam, I get so much hate for the CLB so thank you
i love donda, the highs are one of his bests but id like donda 2 to have a clearer direction
i still really dislike junya, jonah is vory ft durk and ye, praise god while a banger barely has ye and as i said earlier tell the vision is just weird
the pt 2s are also weird imo, i see the point in giving a "choice" and upping streaming numbers but it feels cheap
i dont try to be enjoy an album for what it should be instead of what it is but basically i think there's no way that an album where he's rapping or singing actual lyrics on every song in more time than other people will be not well seen, thank god he kinda stopped the mumble bs

junya is hard
junya is hard
thats the thing, it should be a banger but i think the beat is awful lol

What makes you say that?
What makes you say that?
It feels like pop art to me, reminds me of Warhol taking a symbol like the Campbell’s soup can and recontextualizing it in a simple raw way
ablum out?

Idk if id agree but interesting take
Donda tracks hit way harder for me as standalones than they do in album form. I almost never listen to Donda in full anymore but if any track from it shuffles into my playlist, it’s ultra hard every time.
Different from 808s or Yeezus where I HAVE to listen to the whole album every time.

Agreed Donda feels like a playlist more than anything
Ima pitch my new upcoming post
This Thursday I have a new drop for the weekend 😎
It’s gonna be a multi lp bundle of an artist that hasn’t been discussed.
I haven’t made a drop in close to 2 weeks. Uh oh Fam. I’m getting behind schedule. Uh oh spaghetti o - not good 😳
Now for some of you new to my drop’s, it goes like this. I select a particular artist-group-band and make a post about them & post streaming links. but here comes the TWIST.
The twist is the drop is: their catalog even if it’s out of print. 😨But you are probably saying
“ do I have to jump through hoops to get it? If I’m interested, are there passwords or go to a blog? “
No, you just click a download or streaming link abd you can listen to it if it interests you.
“What about streaming? “ There is a joined stream link where you press play and all the lp’s are in one mp3 file.
“What about downloading? What kinda fugazi s*** ?” None It’s on a storage locker & a zip and it includes all music the original artwork that is available.
“What about if you miss the week? “ None of it expires
“Wait a minute, how many have you dropped? “ it has to be hundred’s , fam. I’ve been doing this for +2 years. I’m the only unicorn on this forum that hands out this much 😳
“What did you drop last week?”
Close to 2 weeks ago, you mean. I dropped a great soul r&b funk group called Cane & Able - both lp’s out of print. 😎
“ I don’t want to read your s***ty post, I don’t have time to learn about a artist, just give me the music, you piece of crap”
Fair enough, you can just click the links at the top of the op post. No need to be rude. 😒
That’s it, see you then, fam.
you look like you need a manager
