This could have been done in a better way tbh should have made his own streaming platform for him and anyone affiliated with him that he could even possibly let other artists join if they wanted to. Making people pay $200 to listen to his album is wack.
So you wanted him to do Tidal 2.0

Yea it’s the stem player
A part of me respects Kanye essentially saying f*** the billboards
Just too bad that he f***ed us in the meantime
People saying they don’t wanna pay 200 to listen to music
When most already pay about 120 dollars a year to do just that >>>>>
Incredible logic

But they have all the music in the world with that price , not just kanye's unfinished demos

False equivalency
But they have all the music in the world with that price , not just kanye's unfinished demos
Stem player is still in its infancy I believe more music will filter in over time
Many have alluded to wanting Kanye to do a steaming service
Which of course means they would be willing to subscribe to it to hear Kanye demos or whatever he uploads there
What I’m saying is
Asking for that is basically just asking for a stem player as cost are similar and they’re the same thing
People are just sticker shocked
If Kanye said stem player is 16.99 a month and you can listen to the album evolve over time
It would not be met with so much backlash/terrible takes
And that’s not even mentioning you’re buying hardware with capabilities that are not available on conventional streaming platforms

So you think other artists will put their music on kanye's stem player?

I do think so, yea. I think the hardware behind stem player adds a lot of value to the music.
It obviously won’t appeal to every artist and their fanbases
but think of fans of guys like
Gambino
Cudi
Frank
Tyler
Etc
Just demographics that would likely enjoy getting to tinker with the album on their own
This device is like a year old or less right now it’s still a baby in terms of development cycles
Having Kanye as the face is a great first step
Imo Kanye’s real discog ends with TLOP. The rest is just weird performance art and gospel music
And also you can add your own music to stem player currently (which I know isn’t ideal but it’s an option currently people can use)
Imo Kanye’s real discog ends with TLOP. The rest is just weird performance art and gospel music
well no it doesn't

Donda is better than TLOP and Donda 2 will be way better than TLOP
TLOP the new Yeezus on here lol KTT's favorite Ye album now. Was a thread in the Ye sxn saying it was a hot take to say CD>TLOP and all lol
TLOP is gen z fave Kanye album
No shade at all in that statement
Simply an observation
