kogoyoswe can agree to disagree and not to be all armchair psychologist but I think somebody purposefully being so self destructive and latching on to the most toxic thing they can find in such a public, attention seeking way stems from deeply rooted psychological issues
does that excuse his behavior no but it explains it and suggests he needs help
and like anybody who falls down a nazi rabbit hole there are tons of malicious but charismatic vultures that prey on lost or unwell people looking for meaning
This isn’t a reactionary take to him that he just said in the moment.
This has apparently been an opinion he’s held for years now.

FlapheadAgreed on that, but his words have real life consequences at the level of celebrity he has. Don’t tie it to yourself, sure, but it’s irresponsible to pretend that this doesn’t embolden white supremacists and bring the bullshit he’s been spewing to a new audience
White supremacy is a top priority for the Biden Administration to tackle in terms of domestic terrorism so I am feeling optimistic that will be handled with the swiftness. America is changing, for better or worse.

Nobody dies on it. It’s really just an accepted truth. I’m just saying it isn’t otherworldly to see someone “praise” Hitler for something.
Kanye is trying to do his good Christian man “I see the good in everyone” bit but he’s picking a terrible time to do it along with a terrible example. It’s probably best if you don’t praise Hitler at all but if you are, don’t say he invented the highway and microphone lol.
It just makes him seem as crazy as everyone thinks he is. He needs to take a step back and disappear for a while.
