still not feeling this take
follow god, on god, selah, hands on all fire lyrically
Im directing this at the obviously shoehorned lyrics he shoved in to fit a beat he likes
EXAMPLE "Jesus christ did the laundry"
this acts as a good counter balance to yeezus. Does it a lot better than what yandhi was gonna be

Y’all caught up in the hype of s new Kanye release
this s*** doesn’t touch Yeezus
Nah people just like it b that's how it be sometimes. I don't agree neither but I can see why folks would say that.
I'm honestly suprised I'm not seeing it more especially considering how many asked for the old Kanye and mark Yeezus as his fall off point on here.
The lyrics and content alone are alot more mature no "Fist in her like a Civil Rights sign" stuff and what not.
The low-fi, dry mixing works for me. I’m sure there are technical aspects that are driving audiophiles nuts, but Ye has been going for this stripped down style for years. I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that the album art is a vinyl record and the mixing is super dry.
A lot of great artist get looser and looser with their art. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I’d image Kanye felt like he mastered “playing by the rules”, being able to construct perfect albums, and it’s probably refreshing for him to get a little loose with vocals and song structures. If you look at a lot of great artist “mature work” it presents as less formal or “perfect” than their earlier work. Learn to play by the rules so you can break them, and I think that started with Yeezus for Kanye.
And “Follow God” is straight fire.
I love you bro
ard you kinda whilin out now
Not really, only songs I like are Blood on the Leaves, Bound 2, New Slaves & Black skinhead.
Hold My Liquor is okay but I don't really care for the rest.
I like every song on here.
Listening to Late Registration as we speak. All Things Ye tonight. Jesus really is King
