What a giant fumble by GaP. Some dude on the CNN finance channel completely put them on blast for the way they handled Kanye and basically said you have one of the biggest and most popular names in fashion and somehow didn’t find a way to plaster him all over your retail stores, websites, constrained him and hardly released anything. Then he proceeded to say just how bad GAP management has been for years and this deal was no different.
We got literally nothing out of this and it’s hard for me to imagine Kanye who is always bursting with ideas and new designs was the one behind basically nothing being put out. Just an all around L for GAP that’s going to be looked at harshly in the future.
going completely independent always seemed inevitable, just wasn’t expecting it to be so soon…but i guess Ye feels like he’s got the tools and resources to pull this off.
RIP to all the unreleased YZY heat from GAP to Adidas to music 😂
I really respect what Ye is doing. He might crash and burn and end up broke, but at least he's not compromising his morals.
That's an important message to have out.

“Ye will now promptly move forward to make up for lost time by opening Yeezy retail stores.”

What do you think happened to all of the designs that were happening in Wyoming in 2020?
So is this still happening or no
Seems not
Distance between us is not like a store, this isn't a closeable gap, ayy.
HAHAHA
"thats kanye west, he moves shares 40% in a day"
or
"thats kanye west, he adds billions to our revenue"
There’s the positive side and the negative version that you forgot to mention.
His track record with relationships whether it be corporations/brands, dating, marriage, friends, etc…It’s all the same pattern.
Starts off great, a lot of potential..then something happens or they fall off…then here comes the s***storm where he ends up blasting them on social media/interviews…and repeat lol Literally the same cycle Everytime no matter who’s involved…and this isn’t about pointing fingers, both sides should be held accountable for their actions
The video interview he did for CNBC is actually so articulate and reasonable, I can’t imagine people watching thinking he is crazy or irrational. He gave very well reasoned points for the termination. I’m glad because while I want Kanye to express himself in the purest form, it’s nice to see people to be able to digest his message and take him seriously

I’m unfortunately willing to bet they spin him saying he’s the king into some bullshit
