They had a point by saying Kanye has money to do it himself, but they couldnt see that Kanye wasnt just trying to have Yeezy be a side hustle or just another clothing brand from a rapper.

Kanye was and is still trying to make Yeezy the next Apple and go into other areas besides clothing and sneakers like architecture, art, education, and real estate.

If anything, Sway actually believed in Kanye that much. Knowing that his ideas and prowess is beyond any Co-sign from any company.
Adidas didn’t fumble like them other people

Yeah ofcourse we all get the where they coming from. Like Charlamagne on here sayin he don’t need money to have a voice and Envy saying he can do it on his own like Don C, and Sway was the same saying he can do it on his own. Which he could’ve, but that’s not what he was tryna say or do. You know? They weren’t seein what he was seein

He said from jump his end goal was to create music for the church

Yeah but it's one thing to start where kanye did and to that and to go thru what kanye has and to end up making a jik. Not the same level of authenticity

Ye point about him not being able to drop classics anymore, the people will stop listening to him and his voice wont matter is literally what happened and what happens to rappers all the time

Because his point doesn't make any sense in response to what CTG said.

~KanYe said you need to own something to have a voice.

~Charlamagne brought up to irrefutable points: There are people who used there voices who didn't have money, and that KanYe was already using his voice before he owned anything

~KanYe's response to this: What if yall don't buy my albums, something about Arsenio Hall, I'll get fired. If you have money can't nobody fire you.

How does that refute what CTG said? Does that response really support "you need to own something to have a voice" ?

Basically he said that what Charla said isn’t the case anymore and that now you have to own something to have a voice.

If his voice/influence is strictly in music than it’s not as strong and it’s easier for him to be silenced

He's saying without money or owning something your voice can easily be taken away.

With money your voice, or more accurately, direct influence will always be heard.

Arsenio Hall got his voice taken away when those who owned him no longer liked what he had to say.

Had Arsenio owned his platform (with money behind it), he'd still have a voice (again, direct influence).

Thus, when you have money, no one can fire you.
