Well he's clearly experimenting. Yeezus is different than his trilogy, 808s is different than yeezus, mbdtf is different than tlop, ye is different than JIK. He's trying different sounds, not rapping as much, using different cadences, the list goes on. If that isn't experimenting idk what is. I see him bored because the hunger isn't there. Not saying he's halfassing s*** but there's a clear difference between current kanye and old kanye.

Kanye was unstoppable until he dropped Yeezus, I still have an ounce of faith in him even if he's more likely to drop trash, still a higher probably of it being tolerable than the others tbh
