Hecking doggerino did a wholesome face rip-off but he's actually just a misunderstood angel It's the owners/victims/societies fault that this specific breed selected for aggression and fighting capabilities acted out on its natural instincts

A dog's "natural instincts" aren't to eat the face off the first living thing that comes in their sight

99% of the time a dog acts out it's because of how they were raised by the owners. Plenty of times you see dogs who did something harmful, but then turned into the kindest animals after they were treated right and trained properly.

If these s***head owners had a sign warning people of their dogs, they knew they were bad owners and didn't do anything about it. Should've given them to a company that actually handles animals like that.

You seem like one of those people who gets panic attacks when a chihuahua starts barking at em

It's always crazy to me how easy it is to pick up a dog, even though they require a lot out of you and not everyone should be a dog owner, even if you want one.

I agree. I know some shelters make sure the owners meet certain requirements before their allowed to pick a dog, but it should be put into law tbh

You can train a pitbull all you want, sometimes it will just revert to its natural instincts if triggered. It is a dog breed specifically designed for aggression in mind. All the training in the world cannot remove genetics

This is just not true. Pitbulls aren't naturally aggressive to humans. They have that reputation because they were bred to be extremely athletic and highly trainable making them ideal breeds for dogfighting.

They are dangerous in the sense that with the wrong owners they can pose the biggest threat to others than other breeds, but they aren't naturally inclined to just attack people.

What needs to happen is for their to be better regulation on who can own pets and better education on how to raise them. I am not totally against the banning of pitbulls since it keeps them out of the hands of bad owners and it seems they may be more aggressive to other dogs, but its also a little unfortunate as well-trained pitbulls are known to be some of the best companions out there.

Fellas bad with dogs usually some weirdo ass nerds respectfully

Eh, I've been watching a lot of dog whisperer since the panny started (lol), and a lot of times bad owners don't have the proper confidence. Dogs are pack animals, so if no family member steps up as the alpha, dogs can sense that void, think they have to be the alpha and bully their owners around.

They are literally named pitbulls because they were bred for being pitted against bulls They are bred for aggression and size Stop coping

Rare L. This isnt like you

I’m sorry bro, you’re right. I was just so angry after seeing that girl’s face mutilated.

I don’t think a dog raised with love would attack an innocent like this. The fault gotta be on the owners.

Well a lot of adults can snap at any time to under the wrong conditions, I’m sure we’ve both seen it happen before.

There's a shelter near me that inspects prospective owners' houses and makes sure their lifestyle can accommodate maintaining and taking care of a dog. I think that's the bare minimum the law should uphold.

    or put in a zoo

  • Mar 20, 2022

I know this isn’t the optimal answer and can potentially Lead to more cases like this but I think dog behavior needs to be taken on a case by case basis. Killing all dogs is not the answer, setting them all “free” in nature would be a death sentence for most of them and would be a betrayal to the good ones.

Owners need to be held to held more responsible for dogs that they know have aggressive tendencies. If they were more cautious this wouldn’t have happened.

I’m sure you can see how putting aggressive dogs in zoos with one another would be a recipe for disaster

Horses are the same. I rode horses a lot as a kid & love them, still do sometimes. The horses only threw off the riders that made “kissy noises” & were too gentle with them.

My mom who did horse riding said don’t listen to these farmer ass mfs, and she taught me to physically push & pull the horse when needed (nudge it along), hold eye contact, look at them sideways sometimes & PAT THEIR SIDE INSTEAD OF PETTING THEM all the time (sometimes is fine).

Never got thrown off mine EVER. A couple classes in, she’d walk up to me herself when classes started, no other student’s horses did that.
