powdered milk is cheaper and lasts years w/o expiring unlike liquid milk
I really don't think its that expensive even if you get liquid milk though
a 5 serving box of hamburger helper is about $11. that would last the family maybe 2 days if they stretch it
in comparison, a 25 oz mega box of Corn Flakes is about $6.50 and probably would last a 3-4 weeks even if they ate it for breakfast and dinner
