He’s not wrong, consumer staple companies tend to do well during tighter economic periods.

He’s not really advising people to do it, he’s saying that’s the trend lol. It’s how people are already spending their money.

He’s comparing cereal versus meat/pasta or chicken/rice; yeah, it’s gonna be cheaper.

how does this save money when they keep shrinking the size of the cereal box while upping the price

  • Ok this 40 pizzas in 30 days type beat

This is great advice tbh. I used to eat cereal for dinner all the time to save money

Funnily enough kelloggs did the best on this test lol

  • Imagine thinking you're too mature to eat cereal...

Bruh have you seen the diet of some folk. Live off Uber eats processed meat and snacks, scared to eat veg and leafy greens. Bigger probs than someone enjoying cereal.

Cereal helps me start off the day happy and i have very balanced diet. When I have heavy depression it's the one thing I can always stomach...

An adequate amount of cereal to fill two adults and a kid up plus a gallon of milk has to be more expensive than other alternatives lol

Box of cereal is like $6 now lol

  • Feb 27

milk lobby says drink more milk

  • This would work if cereal wasn't just as expensive lmao

They are much cheaper off brand tbf

Unfortunately in a lot of cases cereal one of the only food where the off brand versions really just don't compare

The Lucky Charms are healthier than the Honey Nut Cheerios now, that s*** shocked and amazed me

They literally all are said by nutritionists to be seen as occasional desserts

And I’m sure that’s correct, its also true that the Lucky Charms have lower sodium and less total fat than the Honey Nut Cheerios. And the Frosted Flakes (from corn) have less than both, as well as a lower calorie count; its surprising to me is all
