How did it boost his streams? More than 90% of the numbers Views did in it's first week had nothing to do with Hotline Bling lmao. Even right now, if you take that song away from the Views album, it still has over 6B streams.
Many publications back in 2016 didn't understand how streaming works and believed that if you add a song that's already a hit to an album then whatever units that song has done gets added to the album's first week numbers but that's not true. Never has been.
