nerds mad they have to start an album over from the top manually now?
yall woulda shot urselt in the head back when u had to flip a vinyl back over lol
crying lmaooo nah kendrick spoke on it in interviews and everything
Ohhh I just listen to the s***, guess I'm not tapped in like that
Y’all need to get a life
This was true before the last 38 pages but now it's hella true
38 pages lol
I remember saying The Heart Part 5 could possibly be added to the album and Kendrick stans attacked me for even suggesting it.
How did you come to this conclusion
This is how it works: if you drop a single now that does 500M US streams and then add that song to your album that drops 6 months later, it doesn't affect your first week at all. Your first week will still be only based on the streams/sales every individual song off your album gets the week it drops. Those 500M US streams your single pulled translates to about 300k album units, which gets added to your RIAA certification total so if you do 200k first week when your album drops, you can apply for a gold certification from the RIAA because of the previous 300k units from your single. Get it?
Had to step out right quick, but I had already spoken to my mans who works for EMPIRE, same distribution company / label that worked with Dolph (RIP) and a bunch of other artists, this is a literal quote from him
"100% if you have a song with 100M streams then drop an album with that song included your album starts off with 100M streams. The song is a part of a larger project, that's how it's always been"
Cole isn’t supposed to be the second biggest rapper
He's supposed to be the 3rd but also sold less than Ye and Kendrick..
