Oh fair, yeah i mean some kendrick fans did also put the album on very high expectations in terms of sales. Had people thinking it would sell 1M first week cos he hasnt released in 5 years

To be fair, that did open it up to get bantered but i genuinely dont follow sales patterns so my enjoyment of the album has never changed, and i dont think many kendrick fans actually think morale flopped on here in hindsight anyway

They don’t matter to you and that’s fine but you literally don’t determine what matters to anyone else.

And yes that’s what I’m saying, people get it f***ed up thinking sales and quality correlate. It’s 2 different conversations

I think it’s fine to discuss sales, but I just think people need to keep it factual when they do, the quality of an album is completely subjective and sales shouldn’t be used to an argument for that. That’s why I’m saying if you’re gonna discuss sales then discuss sales, if you don’t care about sales then don’t spend all day arguing in the sales thread
