There's a little less fat on it (55 mins vs 72), I think it flows really well for the most part and the ending run (basically XXX to the end) is straight up brilliant. I think the highs are higher on DAMN and he raps his ass off on DNA and FEEL. If someone said FEAR was the best Kendrick track, I would not argue with them.
Mr Morale has more lyrical depth and is more experimental. It's insightful and powerful. I've played it a lot and don't get why people say it lacks replay value. Two great albums, just think DAMN is a little more polished.

LacedWhy do people always seem to forget that Kendrick was touring for all of 2017-18 on top of working on black panther on the road while doing it. U wanted that man to drop another album right after all that?
Plus it's obvious that this long ass tour he's on now plays a part in how he's presenting the album. That s*** was shutdown during covid

Well that's not what Kendrick had in mind. It's his album so I think he has the right to choose how he wants to present his art. So in the end we got a good album, we get a good tour, and he makes his money and closes the book on a chapter of his life. That sounds like a win win for everyone

JaWickDon't get me wrong the album was great, Kendrick was spitting real s*** and the production was great. But none of the songs really made me want to go back to it like that like his older albums. DAMN, GKMC, and TPAB all had stuff on there I'd spin for months. This one felt different tho idk, like it was made purely for critics to show he still got it.
