This perfectly describes our times: culture wars, women's equality, unstable economy, loss of faith, anger towards masculinity, label exploitation of artists.

And the delivery is just impeccable.

    The world in a panic
    The women is stranded
    The men on a run
    The prophets abandoned
    The law take advantage
    The market is crashin'
    The industry wants
Niggas and b****es to sleep in a box
While they makin' a mockery followin' us
    This ain't Monopoly
    Watchin' for love
    This ain't monogamy
    Y'all gettin' f***ed

Which community feel they the only ones relevant?

He makes such poignant points every time that it gets to a point that we sound like we’re on Kendrick payroll to remind people of how important his music is.

He’s so good at this s*** its almost a disadvantage because everyone’s been saying how good he is for so long that nobody wants to say it anymore.

From the outside looking in, it really starts to seem to ppl that there’s some kinda collusion in the industry to keep him on top when it’s really just the consistency of brilliant artistry.

I got the gist of what Kendrick does as a rapper lmao
Most of his lines are structured like hashtag rap

"8 billion people on Earth, #SilentMurderers
    Non-profits, preachers and church, #CrooksAndBurgulars
    Hollywood corporate in school, #TeachinPhilosophies
You either gon' be dead or in jail, #KillerPsychology"

Bet you that s*** goes crazy in concert and fans appreciate it.

Every single don’t gotta be chasing the very top of the charts. He re-established a presence in secular music with it and other stuff and it’s a good song.

    It served its purpose.
