BrickellBaysideFolklore came out in 2020, 2 pandemic years ago and her records were still playlisted and digested in the same spaces.
I literally grabbed august, 7, mirrorball, illicit affairs etc from the same places I frequent for all of Taylor’s drops. I’m a fan
I also am not sure what the point of bringing Taylor swift up is?
The point is promo and a single aren’t all that if you’re one of the biggest artists in the world. Everyone is online and on social media 24/7 these days and a huge artist dropping is an event everyone is checking for regardless of a rollout

If Taylor did a rollout similar to this she is not at all touching 600k imo.
Her last rollout was very much anticipated and liek you said just a rehash of already loved songs, with the whole premise of it being this is her own version without the greedy labels.
