It’s because the type of people to care about album reviews etc are generally miserable people who ironically only like an album if other people tell them to like it. So in order to hide it they hate on albums that are universally loved.

Nah I consider myself a rap head but I hate critics. I don’t care how many 10s they give Kendrick. The concept of a music critic is corny. Music is too subjective.

Video game and movie critics is different. They can tell if something in that field is not designed well so I put more trust in them.
