I’ve been saying it for the longest and I said it in another thread. Hes the anti drake to some people. While GKMC is admittedly a great and classic album people were itching for somebody to rival drake for the top spot so kendrick was that guy for them. This is why hip hop media champions him so heavy
They tried to use Cole to go against Drake but he wouldn't budge and that's when they settled for Kendrick. The industry had been looking for someone to go at Drake for YEARS.
