Y'all sad if you let charts form your music taste. Y'all on a internet forum, none of y'all cooler than the rest cause your playlist is only songs that made the top ten on billboard

Do y’all see that pack of mid of that Kendrick album having longevity?

Nah. We should just let the stans have their moment for 2 weeks and then hopefully Kendrick will bless us with disappearing from the public eye for another 5 years.

It's totally fine to prefer more popular music. But you gotta let go of your reverse snobbery that people only like less popular stuff because they're elitists

That's the exact reason why because y'all just don't like less popular stuff, you also have to s*** on the popular stuff to make yourselves feel more important and feel like the stuff you like is somehow better.

Aside from the numbers - in terms of streams - I want people to acknowledge the gadam discography this man has put out there. How many songs has he made in this decade run? He's literally lapped the legends at this point.

Like how MANY top 100 songs do you want? Drake should have a damn share in Billboard the company at this stage.

    BIG facts.

It’s why he more than deserved that $400+ million deal with Universal

No. Early signs indicate this is his Dawn FM era.

Guilty Conscience is a super hard Dr. Dre produced banger Ofc it's more palatable. I didn't even bring subject matter into it

In a lot of cases popular music is popular because its good

and now yall talking like Kendrick dropped an experimental classic and that this album is like something from Danny Brown when XXX, AE and uknowhatimsayin clear this s***. The difference is that Danny doesnt have the Interscope and Aftermath machine behind him

    Okay, Sports.

he's right. i would say guilty conscience is definitely more palatable by merit of not being a nearly six minute song where two people are screaming in your ear the whole time.

The absolute worst part of the disgusting d***-riding that the industry and fans do for Kendrick is that his music isn't nearly as deep or thought-provoking as they think. It just sucks on most days lmao.

To anyone that knows of culture outside this weird dusty-ass niche many Kendrick fans seem to live in - there are a LOT of smarter people. People want the man to be black jesus so bad they got to gas everything.

Honestly, Drake doesn't have a bad verse nevermind a bad feature. Kendrick needs half a decade on one project, with the best studio heads and instrumentalists in the world. Outside of that half the man's feats suck. Drake's loosies have more replay value than most of Kendrick's discography.

I'll make you a bet that a year from now or probably even 9 months from now, GKMC will be charting higher than this Kendrick album. Why? Because listeners have brains and they use them and they know what's good from what isn't lol.

S***ting on a popular act for releasing trash doesn't equal s***ting on all popular art. And it's got nothing to do with feeling better. Just those albums are harder to ignore so people are more likely to express negative opinion. As they would with MCU or Ed Sheeran or anything else popular they dislike

Also very funny that kendrick fans act like Kendrick is able to create hits after hits, he just decides not to do that. Lol, just lol.

They think making hits is the easiest thing in the world to do because Drake does it so effortlessly.
