RIZGODThey don't love the music because of the numbers, but they latch onto certain artists because of their numbers rather than the music itself. People aren't going to outright say "I'm a fan of ____ because they sell a lot" but it's implied when they always bring up sales and charts when there's discussions about artists and music
Someone in here was saying they enjoy music because they hear other people playing it just a few pages ago

im trying to picture thisI had some people over at my place. We sat down to eat so I started playing some Weezer. They basically accused me of putting on Weezer because they’re white. (I did) One guy even said it was the first time he’s ever experienced racism.
I know they were joking, but after that I realized I should just play what I want instead of trying to cater to people.
