Tbh mass buying singles no matter who the artist is, is pretty lame. Manipulating the charts whether it’s labels or fans is lame. I will never understand the purpose (bragging rights but it’s still so lame). Like charting high due to manipulation and then freefalling the next week is just a bad look. It gives off the impression your song is popping but whole time nobody outside of crazed Stan’s are even listening. I wouldn’t know how to feel as an artist. Like yeah the core Stan base is supporting but the music isn’t connecting with the public like she’d like. I think BB should do something across the board to stop this type of thing. It was lame when labels did it, it’s even worse when fans are doing it cause there’s literally no gain for them in the end outside of tweeting “your fav could never 💅🏾“

bruh I have no idea how you can call these samples lol First class + this Nicki song are waaay more than just being a sample. They're completely exploiting nostalgia by pretty much taking the almost the whole original song. when Kanye etc samples he isn't doing that

This new excuse aint gonna work bud. if people like the album it will keep selling good numbers. Best example: Morgan wallen got cancelled a month into releasing his new album in 2021. and what happened? man went quiet but his stats rose and the album stayed in the top 5 for a long ass time until he started promoting it again after a year. also yes Dawn fm has support from the tour but did it have any hit singles this year? No, yet the album is still top 40.

Note: I have nothing against Gunna and love his music. Space Cadet a classic !!
