Ok.
Drake got bigger since 2017 and Kendrick has declined since 2017
Now what?
Before May 13, Kendrick dropped a total of ZERO albums since 2017 what is this take
Acting like More Life doesn’t count because he labeled it a “playlist” is delusional because:
1. It’s the same length as all of his studio albums since Views
2. It received the same barebones minimum promo that CLB received in the lead up to its released
3. It had a single released from it months before release (three technically, but two of them didn’t make the project)
4. It has more high profile features than almost every single one of his other projects
And yes, it lost a day of tracking, Donda lost three days and Drake stans still compared it to CLB all the same, which they should have.
More life lost 2 whole tracking days
It came out on streaming on a saturday night

Black Panther don't count but More Life does
Regardless, let's count More Life then.
Drake has INCREASED since. Kendrick has declined following.

That’s no one’s fault but Drake’s. He chose to drop it when he chose to drop it. DAMN. outsold regardless

Album outsold a mixtape - yay!
Views outsold Untitled Unmastered by more than 5x btw

Black Panther was a SOUNDTRACK for a MOVIE and KENDRICK is only a credited artist on less than half of the project
Drake is the king of streaming we know this, DAMN. still had a higher first week overall though
Because it had physicals and More Life didn’t. More Life out streamed
Album outsold a mixtape - yay!
Views outsold Untitled Unmastered by more than 5x btw
Untitled Unmastered were raw demos from a previous studio album.
More Life was a completely brand new project that fans had the same hype for as a brand new album at the time.
Two completely different things.
Because it had physicals and More Life didn’t. More Life out streamed
Drake never does first week physicals. Drake out-streamed. Kendrick outsold.

He's credited on every single song as an artist, writer, or producer. He released 3 singles for it. Wikipedia literally credits it as 'Kendrick Lamar and various artists'.

Both side projects - same thing

He’s credited on five songs as a performing artist, so to try and count that as a part of his solo discography is ridiculous.
Is Daytona Kanye’s album because he’s credited on every song as a producer?
Drake only has 6 albums, More Life is not one of them.
Regardless of length or whatever else. It's a side project. And it had a shortened sales week since it dropped on a Sunday 12AM.
This. It only has 5 tracking days.
IYRTITL
WATTBA
More Life
DLDT
Regardless of the numbers these projects did, they're not studio albums in Drake's discography so they're all side projects.
He’s credited on five songs as a performing artist, so to try and count that as a part of his solo discography is ridiculous.
Is Daytona Kanye’s album because he’s credited on every song as a producer?
Is Daytona credited as 'Kanye West and Various Artists'? Did Kanye release 3 singles for it as lead artist?
Both side projects - same thing
No — one is a B-sides project. The other is a brand new album’s worth of music. There’s a big difference.
DLDT is more comparable to UU.
Artist: here's my side s*** I'm doing on tour less than one year after my album that sells 1m first week and I'm doing it with a bunch of friends
You: IT COUNTS AS A MAIN PROJECT!'l!
"Kendrick finally outsold Drake!!!!!" "Drake is over!!!!!!"

It lost 2 tracking days, not one.

Florence + the machine projected to do 123k fw now @thegreatdivine
Stop quoting me with stupid posts like this.
Is Daytona credited as 'Kanye West and Various Artists'? Did Kanye release 3 singles for it as lead artist?
That’s because they needed the biggest artist’s name to market the soundtrack for the movie. There’s no way y’all are truly this dense.
You know why people say he hasn’t dropped in 5 years? Because Black Panther is not a part of his solo discography
