So if Ed Sheeran released a pure hip-hop album and was crowned Billboard’s #1 Hip-Hop artist of the year, you wouldn’t see that as a slap in the face to actual hip-hop artists that dropped during the year?
Edit: oh and then Ed drops a full on business as well usual pop album to top it off
And Ye is the world's biggest gospel artist
Yep. I understand it’s about the numbers, but it’s still a f***ing joke lmao

I don't know why you're in your feelings. If Ed Sheeran dropped a rap album that outperformed every other rap album that dropped that year, then yes, he'd have more than earned being the #1 rap artist/having the #1 rap album from a numbers standpoint. It's really not that deep.
Billboard doesn't consider feelings for their charts. They take what the numbers provide and run with that.
Kodak the only hip hop artist here
