He's just on the stage slurring his words with a few dudes around him playing guitar. I guess these days people expect more of a show like Drake/Taylor/Weeknd have been doing with the set designs etc

yeah he'll still grow a bit but it's definitely impossible for weeknd to hit ed/taylor levels cause of the type of music
its just like how Olivia Rodrigo's tour for her new album will defiintely be bigger than Lil Baby's, it'll probaby be Travis Scott levels already

I think Abel might’ve crossed over into legacy status after this tour. By that I mean there will always be a large touring audience available to him for as long as he chooses to be a performing musician

I explained my point poorly lmao but my point summed up is that there's different touring ceilings for each type of music an artist makes. That's why I disagree that it should be used so strongly in a "who's the biggest artist" debate, cause it'll always favor artists that make global hits, rather than artists that have hit albums
Like obviously The Weeknd has waaay more "pop" friendly songs than someone like Lil Baby. I think that's the main thing that matters for touring. This why artists like Lil Wayne and Nicki have always struggled with doing large tours meanwhile Harry Styles sells out stadiums globally for fun. I'd bet Harry Styles most recent tour sold more tickets than Nicki+Lil Wayne's entire tour history combined lmao

I think you have a valid point where you say someone’s touring ceiling depends on the type of music they make, but that just applies to streaming and sales numbers in general as well.
Certain artists will never have streaming or sales numbers as high as other artists because of the type of music they make. That’s just the way the world is, it’s not specific to touring.

That’s 6/29 songs.
50,000 people are not going to a two hour stadium show to hear 6/29 songs.
