You have the worst takes. The absolute worst.
he's a foreigner fam he not even tapped in
I have never seen him mention lucki once
I wouldn't say ppl are moving on from the album, its just no hits
same thing happened with my turn until that we paid song lol
That's exactly what it means, though. Usually, there's at least one song off an album people latch on to. Even if they generally move on from the rest of the album. Utopia doesn't have any of that.
I don't see Meltdown becoming Sicko Mode part 2. I thought Fein would take off but it doesn't seem to be sticking. I Know also seems like a fan favorite but it's also bleeding streams like crazy.
Maybe I'll end up being wrong but unless a song goes viral organically, Utopia will start dropping like crazy from week 2.

I don't even know what world he's from with some of the things he says.

fukumean back up to #2 on US Apple Music. Might to #1 as soon as tomorrow or even earlier.
Travis really took 5 years to drop an album people are already moving on from in a week and with no songs they're latching on to as a potential hit single.
i like Fein, it should be the one

Do you just judge music based on how commercially accessible it is

Travis is a commercially accessible artist. His goal is to make commercial accessible music. He missed the mark

That clearly wasn’t the goal with Utopia though, anyone who listened to the album should be able to understand that.
It’s like saying Honestly, Nevermind was a failure because it wasn’t super commercially successful

Stop asking me questions like this in the only music thread on this site that's designated for any/all discussions about numbers.
And stop quoting me if you don't have anything productive to say.

What part of Travis having presale bundles and teasing a stadium tour leads you to believe that Travis’s goal isn’t to perform well commercially

I never said it wasn’t a goal, but it wasn’t the main goal. If it was, he would’ve just made Astroworld 2

You’re framing the numbers to reflect like the album wasn’t good or like people have already moved on from it, when the obvious explanation is that it’s just not a commercially accessible album
