Yes, but Kendrick is bigger or at least, he's supposed to be. C-list rappers are still outstreaming Bad Bunny every year in the US so him outdoing Kendrick already is interesting.
1. Kendrick’s never been a big leader on streaming.
2. Bad Bunny just dropped his first album since December 2020, so it makes sense that his numbers are booming right now
kendrick fans got one classic album since gkmc and its not this mid he dropped 🤣🤣
3 classic albums and a classic soundtrack
Bad Bunny is a Latino artist who’s US numbers have been growing with every release for his past 3 studio albums and he just neared 300K first week with his newest album
*274k and all you're giving are excuses.

EXCUSES.

If you read what I said you would see I said he NEARED 300K with his newest album. That’s huge and hard to do for a Latino artist in the US
Never thought I'd see the day niggas would act like Kendrick was some C-list rapper but I guess that day has arrived. Now it's "Kendrick has never done numbers". Alright.

No one’s acting like that, but you’re acting like Bad Bunny isn’t a superstar in the US as well
Those aren’t excuses it’s common sense
No, it's not. You're just giving excuses as to why Kendrick's album is performing terribly. That's all you Kendrick apologists have been doing since the day this album dropped.
"take off the fabricated streams and what do you have?"-Kendrick on the soon to be #1 song in the USA

Simple question. Bad Bunny/Kendrick, who do you think is the bigger act in the US?

I’m not saying nothing about his numbers by themselves, I’m just using common sense to explain why Bad Bunny is keeping up with him streaming wise right now

Maybe Kendrick should make the Flop steppers a mixtape 🤣🤣

Bad Bunny is flat out outdoing him. He's not "keeping up." That's why it's noteworthy to me.

Three years ago I would’ve said Kendrick easily. But Bunny has gotten bigger and bigger with every release since February 2020 (three albums)

My goodness

It’s still not crazy though, it’s Bad Bunny. If it was Rosalia or another Latin artist then yeah it’d be bad, but Bad Bunny is prime time
I don't wanna see what these Kendrick apologists will say on Sunday because MY GOD. Every excuse is laid out for that man. Every single excuse. That man is literally critic-proof. My goodness.
Kendrick never became a 500k+ first week standard artist. People - fans and haters alike - need to understand that DAMN was an exception. It was a perfect storm of events: first album to use the goodwill and momentum he built up after TPAB, club banger lead single/buzzworthy video followed by an immediate album release
I’m sure fans who say Mr Morale did its numbers because of less commercial content have their hearts in the right place. They don’t intend to “excuse” him…but they’re still wrong. A 500k+ first week standard artist is still doing 500k+ first week after a five year wait and high anticipation with that same content
He simply isn’t that type of artist with that type of demand. Still a superstar but a lot of people here were mislead by nothing more than an exception. Kendrick is typically an upper 300k first week level artist just as Drake is typically an upper 600k level artist
I agree w/ most of this. But I want to add, DAMN didn't sell over 600K because of a "perfect" storm, or singles or promo. It sold that number because it was bundled. That's it.
This album is actually going to stream more than DAMN did. It's upper tier for pretty much every artist. But it looks different w/o bundles. And a lot of stans are being sensitive because their Drake comparisons turned out to be unfounded. And Drake stans are jumping at that.
But he's doing good fw.
My goodness
Question: in the last year, how many other artists have debuted with at least 275K first week in the US?
Miserable Kendrick stans can't even enjoy this so-called 100/100, once in a lifetime album without coming into this thread crying about seeing some users discuss sales. Go back to the most delusional thread in KTT's history and discuss the album, I'm sure it's super deep and that there's many layers to unfold, your presence and negative vibes is not needed in here.
