Yeah, I'm done with this back and forth.
Answer the question. How many artists in the last year have had a first week of 275K or higher in the US?
Question: in the last year, how many other artists have debuted with at least 275K first week in the US?
No need to respond because you have several excuses lined up. It's all good.

Just answer the question
Bad Bunny is one of the 10 or fewer artists (not sure of the exact numbers) to debut with at least 275K first week in the US in the last year, but he’s not that big because he speaks Spanish? Yeah okay
I'll never understand people coming into this thread talking about "I hate sales discussions." No one gives a f*** about what you like or don't like so f*** off. Yikes. Some of you are so damn weird.
It's like it hurts them that people are actively interested in sales discussions. Go make your critical acclaim thread and go over metacritic scores and leave us over here alone.
Miserable Kendrick stans can't even enjoy this so-called 100/100, once in a lifetime album without coming into this thread crying about seeing some users discuss sales. Go back to the most delusional thread in KTT's history and discuss the album, I'm sure it's super deep and that there's many layers to unfold, your presence and negative vibes is not needed in here.
spittin facts as always, Im afraid
"take off the fabricated streams and what do you have?"-Kendrick on the soon to be #1 song in the USA
UHHHHHHHH
YOU UGLY AS F***
What are you basing him beinga 300k a week artist on? Kendricks last album from 2017 did just over 600k. With a 5 year wait he should be breaking over 400k in todays climate.
I’m basing on his first week sales
GKMC - 242k
TPAB - 324k
DAMN - 603k (353k pure)
And now Mr Morale is about to do around 325k. There’s clearly a pattern. People got too hype off DAMN thinking he was one of them Drake/Adele/Taylor type artists but he wasn’t

Also the general public ain’t f***ing with this like his previous works and that’s fine. He didn’t make it for that. It shouldn’t be subject to putting him on a pedestal nor should it be subject to slandering him
If you think that really means the music isn’t good then you just equate good = accessible. That’s a personal problem. Same with thinking inaccessible = avant-garde

That’s the industry tho. The average person who’s looking for enjoyable tunes and a project to just let rock on their systems isn’t really on this like that
Never seen KTT give Bad Bunny this much attention
KTT catching up to one of the biggest worlwide artist
Real niggas been f***ing with him
Two GOATS
Real music enjoyers happy for both and not tryna discredit one of them
Kendrick never became a 500k+ first week standard artist. People - fans and haters alike - need to understand that DAMN was an exception. It was a perfect storm of events: first album to use the goodwill and momentum he built up after TPAB, club banger lead single/buzzworthy video followed by an immediate album release
I’m sure fans who say Mr Morale did its numbers because of less commercial content have their hearts in the right place. They don’t intend to “excuse” him…but they’re still wrong. A 500k+ first week standard artist is still doing 500k+ first week after a five year wait and high anticipation with that same content
He simply isn’t that type of artist with that type of demand. Still a superstar but a lot of people here were mislead by nothing more than an exception. Kendrick is typically an upper 300k first week level artist just as Drake is typically an upper 600k level artist
Bro is writing essays of excuses
